The agent, right in your editor.
Read your project, edit files and run commands from a side panel in Visual Studio Code, powered by your Uncensored Claud account. Install it from a single .vsix file.

What the agent can do
Understands your project
Lists folders, reads files and searches text across the workspace.
Edits with your approval
Every file creation or change shows a preview and waits for your confirmation.
Runs commands
Builds and tests from the panel, after you confirm each command.
Keeps secrets out
.env files, private keys and .git are never read or sent, and nothing leaves the open folder.
Good to know
Why does VS Code say the extension is not from the Marketplace?
It is installed from a file, not from the Marketplace, so it is not verified by Microsoft. Compare the SHA-256 shown above with the file you downloaded (PowerShell: Get-FileHash file.vsix).
How does it count against my quota?
Each step of the agent is one message of your daily quota. The free tier runs out quickly; a premium key gives a much higher limit.
Which model should I use?
The uncensored model follows the agent format well. Set uncensoredClaud.model to dolphin-mistral-24b-venice in the VS Code settings.
How do I update or remove it?
Download the new .vsix and install it the same way: it replaces the old version. To remove it, use the Extensions view and click Uninstall.
